Our Miniature Poodle puppies are raised in our home.  This allows us to play with and watch over them at all times, helping them to develop into well socialized individuals.  They get to hear everyday sounds and watch and interact with us throughout our day.  We do ENS, ESI, and sound desensitization with our puppies from an early age.  Trips outside to view the world and play are done, weather permitting.  Our Miniature Poodle puppies are started on potty training.  We temperament test our Miniature Poodle puppies when they are 7 weeks old, allowing us to help you choose the right puppy for your family that will fit in well with you and your lifestyle.  We also have a LIFETIME genetic health guarantee.

Early Neurologic Stimulation (ENS)

We do Early Neurologic Stimulation with our Miniature Poodle puppies.  This is done from birth through the first fourteen days of their lives.  It is handling the Mini Poodle puppy in certain ways that helps them to develop their brains at a faster rate.  It also helps them to do better at handling stressful situations later in life, allowing them to recover faster.

Early Scent Introduction (ESI)

Early Scent Introduction is done from birth to 16 days old.  We introduce a new smell every day to our Miniature Poodle puppies.  This allows their sense of smell to develop faster and better.  This is especially helpful for those looking for possible future work or service dogs.

Sound desensitization

We start working on sound desensitization as soon as the Miniature Poodle puppies open their eyes at around 2 weeks old.  We start playing different sounds very low and build up to playing them at a regular, everyday volume (this can be quite loud for things such as fireworks, thunderstorms, etc.).  This helps to build confidence in our Mini Poodle puppies, allowing them to enjoy life even through things that many dogs find scary such as fireworks and thunderstorms.  If they do get startled/scared, they should recover quicker.  Just some of the sounds we play are:  fireworks, thunderstorms, city traffic, airplanes, doorbells and knocking, and more!

Potty Training AKC Miniature Poodle Puppies

Our Miniature Poodle puppies are started on potty training by using a litter box starting at about three weeks old.  It is easy to transition them to going outside to use the potty or you can continue using a litter box (or do a combination of the two).  A litter box is especially helpful for those that are at work for long periods throughout the day.

Dewclaws and Tails

We have the dewclaws on our puppies removed.  This keeps them from accidents from catching on things such as blankets, etc., and getting ripped off later in life.  We also do long docks on the tails of our Miniature Poodle puppies, according to the AKC Poodle standards.

Temperament Testing Miniature Poodle Puppies

Temperament testing is done when the Miniature Poodle puppies are seven weeks old.  This is the best time for us to determine their temperaments in their development.  We have someone come in that the Mini Poodle puppies are not familiar with and do the testing in a place they are also unfamiliar with.  The test consists of 8 different tests.  They are then scored and averaged to come up with a final score, letting us know their temperament type.  This helps us to help you pick the Miniature Poodle puppy that is best suited for your family.  After all, an active family wouldn’t want a Mini Poodle puppy that is a couch potato.  They would most likely want one that is more into joining them for runs, hikes, etc.

Lifetime Guarantee

We stand behind our Miniature Poodle puppies.  We do genetic health testing and make sure our Mini Poodle puppies are not inbred.  We also feed a quality food, and make sure they get plenty of exercise.  If you find that your Miniature Poodle puppy, at anytime in their life, has a life threatening genetic defect, we will either replace your Mini Poodle puppy or refund your purchase price for your Miniature Poodle puppy.
